Some misunderstandings to tackle
With an Athlete's Foot you can mean two different things. Just
a foot of an athlete but also a fungal disease which is related to
athletes and therefore just called like that. So it's automatically
related to athlete's and therefore seen as a sportsmen problem.
In a lot of cases people
think that they are having such a disease but it's just a Smelly Feet
problem. Let us explain those misunderstandings in having a foot problem.
Athletes foot fungus (tinea pedis) is a more normal, persistent infection of
the foot caused by a dermatophyte, that's a microscopic fungus that lives
mostly on dead tissue of the hair, toenails, and on the outer skin layers.
It's caused by a fungus, usually occurring between the toes.
Anyone can catch it, but people who use communal changing rooms and communal showers
are more likely to pick it up.
The fungus
most commonly attacks the feet because shoes create a warm, dark, and humid
environment which encourages fungus growth. These fungi thrive in warm,
moist environments such as shoes, stockings, and the floors of public
showers, locker rooms, and swimming pools. The warmth and
dampness of areas around swimming pools, showers, and locker rooms, are also
breeding grounds for fungi. Because the infection was common among athletes
who used these facilities frequently, the term athlete's foot became
popular. Athlete's foot is transmitted through contact with a cut or
abrasion on the plantar surface (bottom) of the foot. In rare cases, the
fungus is transmitted from infected animals to humans.
Diagnosis is made by visual observation of the symptoms. The podiatrist
eliminates the possibility of a bacterial infection by performing a
microscopic examination of skin scrapings to determine the type of fungus
causing the infection. Other tests include growing a fungal culture from
skin scrapings and examining the patient's foot under an ultraviolet light.
Recap of the symptoms of
athlete feet:
- cracking and peeling of
skin between the toes
- inflammation
- areas of white, 'dead'
skin
- moistness or blistering
- itching/soreness
How to avoid an Athlete's Foot
- Avoid walking barefoot; use shower shoes (especially in public places)
- Reduce perspiration by using talcum powder
- Wear light and airy shoes
- Wear socks that keep your feet dry, and change them frequently if
you perspire heavily.
Difference between Athlete Feet and Smelly Feet
And Athlete foot is caused by a fungus. A Smelly Feet or Smelly Feet
is been caused by a bacteria.
An Athlete foot will look red and the skin will be showing an
irritation and felt like burning and could get itching as reaction to that fungus.
In case of having smelly feet
or Smelly Feet those feet will produce a very bad odor indeed and in
most cases it appears to be increasing over the years. If you are
trying to do some self
diagnosis its not always easy to see the difference because an
athlete's foot can produce some odor too in specific situations. Therefore we can advice you the
following.
Try a bottle of PediSpray first if you are having severe Smelly Feet
problems If the smell doesn't go away you can try Daktarin for a
change to take care of the fungus in cases of having an athlete's foot. Daktarin is been produced by Johnson & Johnson and is
available for instance on the internet or at your local drug store or by
medication from your doctor.
An Athlete foot Treatment
Those infections may disappear spontaneously or persist for years. They
are difficult to eliminate and often recur. Best results usually are
obtained with early treatment before the fungal infection establishes itself
firmly. But it's also useful to know if you are having such problems or
not.. It could also be a problem which is been caused by having Smelly Feet
(Hyperhydrosis) and therefore more easy to cure with this Smelly Feet cure
called PediSpray.
By reducing the bacteria on your feet, your troubles with athlete's
foot could go away
too. Your skin will eventually adapt itself to the new situation and
become less sweating. Those bacteria are also the cause of your feet
to produce more sweat. Just see it as an interactive system. What we
are trying to say is that Athlete foot problems are not far away from
having Smelly Feet and the Smelly Feet which is part of it. Many people
do believe that they are having those athlete feet troubles but actually
it's noting more than having Smelly Feet with all those effect those
smelly feet causes.
Overview
Recapping this issue: we believe that it's a misunderstanding in a
lot of cases that athlete foot diseases are actually problems caused
by smelly feet troubles. They are both lying in the effect bacteria
itself has on the skin of the person who's infected with it. In
a lot of cases that doctors are saying that those athlete foot
diseases are present it might be a normal bacteriological cause which
is a smelly feet disease. Athlete foot remedies will not really help
in those cases.
Please remember that Smelly Feet, smelly feet or actually sweaty feet are
only a way of trying to give it a name. The real name for Smelly Feet feet
is Hyperhydrosis but that doesn't cover the real meaning even because that's only the
Latin name of having overactive sweaty
glands.
It's a little bit difficult now but one thing is for sure. When you
have troubles with Smelly Feet, use PediSpray and they will vanish
as snow before sun. We also have a solution to Athlete foot. Please
ask for it.
